Spices That Help In Weight Loss

Since over the decade we’re using various types of spices in our diet. They might be full of several nutritional values which not only beneficial for healthy lifestyle but also helps in weight loss and weight management. Some of them are cardamom, ginger, turmeric, cayenne pepper, ginseng, dandelion and cinnamon. How these spices are helpful in weight loss and obesity management, have a look below

Taraxacum (Dandelion): 

Found in most of the continents is full of vitamins (A, C and K) and minerals (calcium, iron, potassium and manganese). Each and every part of Dandelion (leaf, flower and root) is used as wine, coffee, beer, soft drink and tea in various parts of the world. It helps controlling hunger level and slows your digestion; due to which it is helpful for weight management.

Ginseng: 

Found in North America and East Asian region, it is full of phytoestrogens that helps in boosting energy level, controls blood sugar and cholesterol level. It also treats diabetes and sexual dysfunction as well as reduces stress and endorses relaxation and weight management. 

Cayenne pepper: 

It is also called as ‘the metabolism booster’, which is full of Vitamin A and also contains other Vitamins (like B6, E, C, and Riboflavin), Potassium and Manganese. It is very popular spice cuisine in Asian countries that helps in fighting obesity by shrinking fat tissues and lessening the calorie intake in your body. 

Curcuma Longa (Turmeric): 

Found in southwest India and other part of East Asia is very helpful in reducing the formation of fat tissues as it suppresses the blood vessels that form fat. In this way it helps in reducing the fat level and keep balance weight.


Cardamom: 

It is a native to India, and other nearby countries to India, which is third most expensive spice in the world. It is sweet and strong in taste with an intensely aromatic and resinous fragrance and is a thermogenic spice that helps boost metabolism and enhance body’s ability to burn fat.

Ginger: 

Highly produced in India; next in China, Nepal, Indonesia and Nigeria it is a hot, fragrant kitchen spice. It has high energy and anti-inflammatory substances that helps soothing and relaxing your intestinal tract. It also helps in boosting energy and controlling hunger level; due to which it is advised for weight loss and weight management.

Cinnamon: 

It is native to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and Burma. Mostly used as a spice, and essence for wine, coffee, soft drinks, soups, and sweets. It is full of energy that controls blood sugar level and boost your metabolism.
